I spent the weekend on a yacht sailing in the Solent between Chichester and East Cowes. On the first morning we had to get up really early in order to get out of the marina while the tide was at the correct height, and because of that everyone decided to go straight back to bed once we were free. Not being much of a sleeper I decided to take some photos of the boat.
It’s surprising how difficult it is to photograph a boat while you’re on it. Most peoples image of a boat is ripping through water, which unless you’re sailing along next to it is pretty difficult. So I decided to focus on some of the details instead. Here is what I came up with.
